Here are some interesting facts about hydrogen I found on Wikipedia today. Currently, global hydrogen production is 48% from natural gas, 30% from oil, and 18% from coal; water electrolysis accounts for only 4%. Also the hydrogen internal combustion engine is said to be about 38% efficient, 8% higher than gasoline internal combustion engine.
